VIWMA ADVISES OF ANNA'S RETREAT MANHOLE REPAIR

(St. Thomas, USVI) — The Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority (VIWMA) advises the public of a congested manhole near 394-268 Anna’s Retreat. The wastewater team has assessed the issue and will implement the most effective repair solution.

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise caution in the area, as runoff may contain contaminants or pollutants harmful to human health. Residents are advised to avoid contact with areas affected by runoff, including gutters, puddles, manholes, drainage basins, and any locations that appear discolored or emit foul odors.

VIWMA acknowledges the inconvenience this may cause and appreciates the community’s patience and cooperation as crews work diligently to resolve this matter as quickly as possible.
