VIWMA TO INCREASE COMMERCIAL SOLID WASTE TIPPING FEE STARTING JANUARY 1, 2026

 

(St. Croix, USVI) – The Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority (VIWMA) in cooperation with Engineering Design Technologies, Inc. (EDT) and Gulf Coast Underground, LLC (GCU), will be performing Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Inspections of the Sanitary Sewer Lines in Christiansted in the vicinity of the Boardwalk area starting on Monday, December 15th, 2025.

 

The EDT/GCU Crews will be accessing manholes to insert robots into the sewer lines to perform the inspections to gather information regarding the existing conditions of the infrastructure.

 

The EDT/GCU personnel will be uniformed and carry identification, and our crew will be working to minimize impacts on local businesses and residents.

 

AT NO TIME WILL FIELD CREWS HAVE TO ENTER YOUR BUSINESS OR RESIDENCE.
