Procurement and Property

This Division manages the purchase of goods and services for the Authority, including office and operations supplies, parts and equipment, professional and construction services, and fleet and property management. It ensures compliance with statutory, regulatory and policy requirements and supervises a competitive purchasing system for the procurement of services and goods. This Division also oversees the bid, evaluation and selection process, negotiates and monitors contracts, and maintains a contract database.

The following are additional duties of this Division: As this Division continues to expand in personnel and services, it will also be responsible for managing an inventory control system, the Authority’s own gas and diesel purchasing coupon system, and fueling station, oversight responsibility for the acquisition, management and security of all assets including real property, personal property, equipment and vehicles, and vendor and contract records.
