Message from the Chief Financial Officer

"The Finance Division provides the Authority with the means in which it needs to successfully operate on a daily basis. The smooth flow of procurement and contract management is further facilitated with the timely payments to vendors and suppliers to allow for a productive and smooth flowing partnership with the Authority.
This division is now fully responsible for the management and disbursement of all funds related to waste management in the Territory. It monitors the spending levels of its local, federal and special funds that co-exist in making the Authority meet its mandates to the community.
Additionally, Finance is also responsible for processing of a bi-weekly payroll for its staff of more than 160 territorially.
Pay checks and direct deposit disbursements are processed in a timely manner to ensure that all employees are paid correctly and on time. Direct payments are also processed to meet our employees’ various financial obligations, such as, car notes, personal loans, insurance and retirement premiums, child support obligations, garnishments, and other required payments.
Though we boast a small but dedicated staff, we have been able to successfully accomplish a large level of work and we are still looking for ways to improve our services to our staff and vendors.
Our dedicated staff will continue to meet the needs of the Authority and provide professional and timely service to our fellow employees, vendors and customers."
