VIWMA ADVISES COMMUNITY OF BIN SITE RELOCATION

(St. Thomas, USVI) - The Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority (VIWMA) Preserving Paradise Team advises the community that the bins near the old Tropical Motors will be relocated North of its current location.  The bins will be reduced to one (1) 6-yard bin instead of the customary two (2) 6-yard bins.

The Authority is requesting that residents with apartments with four (4) or more units and businesses to acquire a permitted waste hauler and to not utilize the bins.  Bin Sites are designated solely for the disposal of residential solid waste.  Relocation of the bins is scheduled for Monday, June 17, 2019.

Residents are encouraged to utilize the VIWMA 24-Hour Hotline at 844-WMA-USVI (844-962-8784) to report solid waste and wastewater related emergencies.  Residents are also reminded to ‘Put Trash in its Place!’

We’re here to better serve you!  Our team continues to work diligently to provide reliable services and would like to thank the community for their cooperation and support.
