The Office of the Executive Director is the heartbeat of the Authority. It provides the direction, initiative, and guidance needed to fulfill the vision and mission of the Agency. Under the direct supervision of the Executive Director are the support units that provide assistance to the operating divisions, Wastewater and Solid Waste. These include the Offices of Communication Management, Information Technology and General Counsel. This office also oversees the upper level management which is the backbone of the Authority: the Chief Operating Officer, the Chief Financial Officer, the Chief Planning Officer, and the Chief Administrative Officer. The Office of the Executive Director sets the tone that the Authority takes in assuring the mandates of the local and federal regulatory agencies are met, the concerns for public health are addressed, and the environment is protected. The motto of the Authority, “Preserving Paradise”, is demonstrated in the programs that are developed to ensure compliance, fund environmentally-conscience projects, promote public education and outreach, and foster community involvement. The Divisions of Planning and Program Development including Engineering and Environmental Programs and the Offices of Compliance Management including Environmental Enforcement, Finance, Human Resources, Procurement and Property are all inclusive of the support areas that assist with “preserving Paradise for generations to come”.
