The island of St. John, due to its hilly terrain, does not receive any house-to-house solid waste collection. The residents of this island are afforded the placement of 28 waste disposal bin sites located throughout the island, including the Susannaberg Transfer Station.
The proper disposal of household waste includes placing waste in a sealed bag which is then disposed of in the bin at the disposal site. Please do not place waste along the outside of the disposal bin. Do not place unacceptable items in the household receptacle for disposal.
