Businesses, government agencies and non-profit entities tend to generate much greater quantities of spent electronic devices than individuals at home. To effectively and efficiently manage the electronic devices generated by V.I. businesses, government agencies and non-profit organizations, a special process has been established. Fees will be assessed on a per-unit basis in order to cover VIWMA's costs incurred to responsibly manage spent electronic devices from the non-residential sector.
Please review VIWMA's NOTICE TO BUSINESSES, GOVERNMENT & NON-PROFIT
Step 1: Register for an EPA ID Number using EPA Form 8700-12. EPA Form 8700-12 If you already have an EPA ID Number, please contact VIWMA's Environmental Programs Division directly to provide us with that Number.
Step 2: Complete the VIWMA's E-Devices Inventory Log. All items accepted by VIWMA under this program must be accounted for, and will have a small fee assessed. The Spent Electronic Devices (E-Devices) Inventory Log helps you to clearly identify the quantities and types of electronics that you wish to dispose of, and determines the total fees that VIWMA will assess to your organization.
To proceed, you must email the completed Log to Lazarus Toussaint (ltoussaint@viwma.org). You can download a VIWMA E-Devices Inventory Log for your Material by clicking the following links:
Step 3: Contact VIWMA to schedule a drop-off appointment at one of the HHW Collection Sites. There are various requirements that must be met prior to your appointment. Please review the . NOTICE TO BUSINESSES, GOVERNMENT & NON-PROFIT
